(The Hill) Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) was taken to a hospital on Friday afternoon after a multiple-car crash in Nevada.

His office has not commented on his injuries although Nevada Highway Patrol public information officer Loy Hixson said Reid’s injuries did not appear to be life threatening, according to CNN.

A source close to Reid’s family told the Las Vegas Sun that the majority leader is “OK;” adding there were no visible injuries and that Reid was taken to the hospital as a matter of caution.
